This is an all around great carry case. I just wish it was slimmer. This case is a lot slimmer than the other bulky carry cases on the market. I primarily play my current switch in handheld daily, so a sleek everyday case is a must. I purchased this case to go along with the switch 2 cover (love the cover, super innovative!). While it isn't as bulky as some I wonder is there was any chance of making an even slimmer case, for reference my current case is the edc by savage raven.

Case is really nice, but the photos and description is confusing and misleading, it doesn't come with the Switch 2 grip case that goes on the console, it is only the empty carrying case and nothing else.Update: wanted to change the star rating because of their customer service, they are a great company now i remember why i buy their products, great quality items and outstanding company.

Please note, this review is being posted ahead of the Switch 2's launch, and is based solely on the case itself.I've been impressed with Mumba's Switch and Switch 2 accessories so far, and this case is another excellent example. The build quality looks great, and the addition of the cartridge holder is a welcome addition for anyone that wants to use their Switch 2 on the go, but doesn't want to bring a bulkier travel case. The portion of the case that holds cartridges does stay in place if you angle it upward, so it won't get in the way while docking the Switch 2, either.Overall, it looks high quality and with a well thought out design.

The folding covers removed the biggest asset of Mumba cases (that being the total rigidity they gave to the Switch system), and they slip free very easily so if you hold the system one-handed for a moment to multitask you run the risk of accidentally dropping the system. Sure it'll protect against bumps and stuff, but a case should not contribute to the risk of damage. I'm also not a fan of the kickstand-storage-flap covering the exhaust ports on the dock, I feel like it may contribute to overheating with high demand games.

Most ergonomic of all the mumba/supcase family. I tried the unicorn beetle (which was my second favorite) and the blade (weird ergonomics), and this one had a superior feel, while still having a kick stand. It is super easy to hold for extended play sessions. It is also dockable.
